Dot for Children’s Wish
A fundraiser for all
Join supporters from around the world in dotting your copy of the Children’s Wish Foundation pattern, following the step by step Otauna system.
$10 from purchases of kits without dotting tools and $15 from kits with dotting tools will be donated to Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.
The foundation is the largest and only all-Canadian wish granting charity dedicated to granting the heartfelt wishes to children between the ages of 3 and 17 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. For more than 30 years, Children’s Wish has worked tirelessly to grant heartfelt wishes to more than 25,000 children and their families.

Dot mandalas are symbolic of Otauna’s mission to connect people together in supportive ways. The Children’s Wish Foundation pattern was inspired by the colours of the foundation’s logo. The dots represent each person taking part in the campaign, the organized mandala signifies our united effort to support Children’s Wish.
Children’s Wish & Otauna
Otauna has partnered with Children’s Wish Foundation since 2016. Currently, Wish children throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador are recipients of Travelling Kindness Rocks.
Travelling Kindness Rocks is Otauna’s founding program. Dot mandala stones are painted by volunteer team members to represent a universal gesture of support for the recipient.
It is Otauna’s vision to continue to expand the Travelling Kindness Rocks program to include more volunteer dotters and recipients as funds increase. Your participation in this campaign supports this vision.
Dot it big or dot it small
Select a kit with a 6” disc if you’re new to dotting or prefer painting the larger size mandala. Select a kit with a 3” disc if you have dotted before or prefer painting the smaller size mandala.
The Otauna pattern system partners with our corresponding dotting tools, so select a kit with the tools if you do not already have a set. Our set of 7 dotting tools creates the large version of the mandala, the set of 8 dotting tools produces the small.
All kits include:
Step by step instructions for completing your copy of the Children’s Wish Foundation mandala, inspired by the colours of the foundation’s logo.
A wooden disc to dot on.
A gift tag that explains the meaning of the pattern, summarizes Otauna’s mission, and a spot for you to write a personal note.
Access to an online instructional video where Otauna founder, Ginger, leads you through painting the mandala from start to finish.
